ABOUT/VERNET

Jaclyn VERNET began her career with Fotene Design, Boston’s leading interior design firm. Here she helped create breathtakingly livable spaces for clients, and discovered an appreciation for the subtleties that now make her spaces so distinctive.

VERNET graduated from The College of Charleston with a degree in Arts Management and swiftly moved to Manhattan to study at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. Here, she was recruited by a digitally-driven aviation startup and joined them in 2015 as Director of Experience & Expansion. At Blade, she developed a network of 10 lounges and their seamlessly integrated experiences.

Spanning various design styles, and inspired by a time when air travel was the pinnacle of luxury, she successfully revived the golden age of aviation— all while maintaining brand singularity. Today, VERNET is pursuing a graduate degree in Interior Design at Parsons School of Design.

VERNET stands at the crossroads of classic design and new-age thinking. With an understanding that the entirety of a space is defined by the smallest of parts, her eye for detail is second to none. Turning ideas into reality is not a challenge, but a promise.
